University of Szczecin, founded in 1985, is the biggest public higher education institution in north-west Poland. It employs over 300 professors, almost 500 adjuncts and over 300 research assistants. It educates nearly twelve thousand students, on both full and part-time studies, on ten faculties. There are many foreign students studying at the University.
